Here Sophie Lu is at home just minutes before leaving for her very first ballet class. With a little help from Mommy, this is her first plie! She was sooooo excited!
Sophie & her best friend Megan (so sweet together)! Until she goes to Kindergarten (in a year), Sophie will take ballet at her pre-school in an informal setting. After that she will take proper ballet classes at the ballet academy (same teacher, though). She's enjoys her ballet classes so much- she really seems to take ballet seriously! She also loves classical music and starts dancing whenever she hears it. Sophie Lu is very excited because she recently got a piano and should be starting piano lessons soon as well! :)

Sophie couldn't be any more darlingin her ballet finery!!!She DOES look happy!I am telling you...it just doesn't get any better than seeing your daughter at dance class...I get emotional almost every week...I am going to be such an embarrassment to Lia someday I fear.
We are inheriting my parents baby grand piano soon as they are moving...and are also looking forward to piano lessons in our future!!

Taylor took creative dance last year and loved it. I have a YouTube video of her recital.
She will take Ballet/Tap combo this year from the same teacher.

Libby Mei started ballet this week too! (I just posted photos last night!) What is more joyful, I ask, than watching a little girl dance? Sohpie, here's to watching you in the nutcracker someday (maybe you and my Libby can be sugarplums!)

Glad to see Sophie Wei will be starting piano soon. Simone loves to play and I can't wait to have her start lessons. We have been told to wait until she turns 5 or 6 because of reading but I want her to start soon because she loves it so. Maybe I need to search harder for a teacher that starts them younger. What do you think about this?

Sophie is an adorable ballerina:)I just signed Amelia up for dance class; she couldn't be more excited. She couldn't decide if she wanted to keep doing gymnastics or start taking dance, so I relented and I'm letting her do both. We'll see if I can keep up.
Sophie looks adorable in her ballet outfit!! She will have so much fun in class.
Allie is starting her 2nd year and really enjoyed her 1st year of ballet and tap and did very well at her recital.
