They Might Be Giants has an ABC album and one of the songs is LMNO...4 Letters, not 1. However, I've never heard LA LA LA LA P. So Funny.
My Amelia totally cracked up when Sophie screamed AHHH for the A sound.
I've been trying to get her to sing her ABC's so hopefully watching Sophie will encourage her.
What a cutie!!! She is so smart too. At the end, did she say "no more camera mommy?" It sounded like it but I wasn't sure...Annslee does that to me..she gets sick of the paparazzi...ha ha
So, so precious, Shana! We've had the la, la . . . to "P" around my house in the past. I loved hearing Sophie sing.
Keep on having a blast at the beach. I so miss hearing the ocean on a regular basis. Still not used to being an "inlander".

Such a smart and beautiful little girl...you MUST share with me the secret to teaching her the sounds the letters make and how she came to recognise specific letters...because Kaelin has trouble with that...as much as I try to teach her ...she would muchrather watch Dora or go play...lol

She is truely beautiful and sweet. What a wonderful video for her to watch when she's grown, there's something about children at the beach that's so special.
It cracked me up when you said "Hey" and Sophie replied, "Yes". It was all like "Yes Mother, can I help you? I'm very busy you know". :-)
How adorable!! And keep those phonics coming--she'll be teaching reading to Ollie in no time--or at the very least reading "Green Eggs and Ham" to him!! LOL. My granddaughter is a bit younger than Sophie Lu-2 yrs 4 mos.--and they just got her 'Finding Ad' this week--they posted it on 'sarahs-adventures.blogspot.com--this week, and my heart pains me to see so many priceless children in need of forever homes. As I go through the day today--driving a friend to the doc's through a sleet storm--I will be sharing Sopie's sweetness in singing LaLaLaLa-P!! to take our minds off the conditions!!

Your pictures have inspired my friend and I to take some black and whites of our daughters. We are having a photo session on Monday morning and I can't wait!! We both love taking pictures of our girls but we just haven't been doing it. I have 3 11x13 black and whites of my daughter hung in her room and I get so many compliments on them.

That is great! She is a pretty smart little girl :) Our DD, who came home from Korea a couple months ago at 16 months, is obsessed with the ABC song. I'll have to show her Sophie Lu's video so she can see another little girl singing it.

So adorable and I am glad to hear things are moving well with Oliver.
It's so funny that she said "her her her"! As if she said "Mommy, I am tired. I want to take a break after singing my ABC song."
I like the pondering thought of what her second favorite letter was! That was great! Hmmmmm.....let me tap my chin and think about it for a minute! lol
What a great job Sophie Lu did on her ABC's. She is one smart cookie....better watch out mom, you might be in trouble when she gets older...lol!!!

SophieLu is very cute i have a poem for her and you "when i look in her eyes i fill with cries sing a song in tell her lulliebies"i can imagine what that WOMAN went through. But why did you adopt her?
